Watching The Adam Project is like watching someone fall down stairs.  The movie stands steadily, stumbles, picks itself back up, and repeats that same process until the film is so exhausted with itself that it doesn’t bother to pull itself together.

Deadpool 2 plays within the same flashback narrative and irreverent sense of humour that made its R-rated predecessor a hit.  The new changes are behind the camera, with director David Leitch (John Wick, Atomic Blonde) picking up where Tim Miller left off.

Criminal

The premise of Criminal involves an ex-con being used as a vessel to contribute to an ongoing investigation by the CIA.  Information and memories are transferred via a scientific procedure from a recently murdered agent to the agency’s newly hired hand.  This set-up is bonkers, but the cast sells it as best as they can.
