Poop Talk is kind of pointless.  It’s not entirely useless, but did we really need a dookie digest starring comedians cracking wise about what they’ve snapped off?  It’s quite literally “shits and giggles”.

Shimmer Lake

Shimmer Lake is Coen Brothers-lite, yet it aspires to be a film worthy enough to stand beside those famous quirky noirs from the Academy-Award winners.  That would require Oren Uziel’s movie to be outrageous, which it isn’t.  An unfortunate discovery considering the leads are terrific comedic actors.

Office Christmas Party

It’s business as usual for Office Christmas Party, the latest exercise in R-rated edginess being applied to an otherwise toothless situation.  Audiences may have been given a dose of this same seasonal comedy in Bad Santa 2, but a more relevant comparison is between Office Christmas Party and 2011’s A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas.
