Little Evil

I would be perfectly fine if the rest of Adam Scott’s acting career were gigs in horror comedies.  With Krampus and now Netflix’s Little Evil, the actor has a special comedic expertise with applying Straight Man schtick when facing fantastical odds, and countering by meeting the film’s expectations in the final stages of the ridiculous plot.

The Boss

I liked The Boss.  The film isn’t particularly memorable and the comedy hits low targets when it has the ability to be more ambitious, but Ben Falcone’s movie had me in frequent fits of laughter nonetheless.

Mountain Men

By: Addison Wylie Is it just me, or does anyone else find this of coupling of comedic actor Tyler Labine and Gossip Girl’s Chace Crawford unusual?  I suppose this isn’t any weirder than pairing up Labine with Alan Tudyk (Tucker and Dale vs. Evil) or sending Crawford off to recite puns on FOX’s Family Guy, but just looking at the poster for Mountain Men had me wondering how Cameron Labine’s film would play out.
